A great edition of the Timbershow 2022 in France
The 2022 edition of the "Carrefour International du Bois" has come to an end after three intense and rewarding days at the Nantes Exhibition Centre
This edition was marked by record figures with 607 exhibitors from nearly 40 different countries and 14,000 visitors, 20% more than the 2018 edition.
Thank you to the visitors, customers, prospects and wood enthusiasts who came to meet us on our stand to discover or rediscover our ranges of raw wood products as well as our processed wood products dedicated to interior and exterior design.

We took the opportunity to present our latest innovation, the BARD 106 Carbon, a black design and contemporary cladding, in line with the current trend of burnt wood. This black wood cladding is durable and ecological. Thanks to its unique manufacturing process, it combines a thermo treatment technique with the application of an Intense Black finish.
A trendy and environmentally friendly product for architects, with high durability and ease of use.
Highlights of this edition
A sector that is becoming more modern with innovative manufacturers offering technical, acoustic and construction solutions to meet all projects. Wood is definitely at the heart of construction issues with the new construction rules RE2020.
Increasingly present certifications such as PEFC and BOIS DE FRANCE which guarantee the origin and traceability of wood, accompanied by a real dynamic from manufacturers to put eco-responsibility at the heart of their process.
Trends: A strong progression of thermo-heated wood products and ecological finishes, a declared will to go towards more natural treatments. But also many manufacturers offering wood panels with textured finishes for interior design.
As for the exhibitors, the quality of the stands impressed us with their magnificent designs, with a particular focus on black wood cladding and claustras!
We also took part in the Bati Journal TV show, hosted by Stéphane Miget, on the theme of "Wooden terraces: challenges and opportunities". With Arnaud Hetroit (Le Commerce du Bois) who presented the market framework data, two professionals Claudie Maindron (Protac France) and Catherine Ducerf, who brought their testimonies by evoking the stakes and the opportunities at the level of the profession.
This TV set ended with the presentation of the national communication campaign on wooden decking by Eva Cojean (Fédération Nationale du Bois) and Arnaud Hetroit. A campaign supported by the interprofession France Bois Forêt.
