Logs sawn into boards and reassembled into boules are extracted from the best forests in France. Selected with care, this raw material assures the quality of the oak boules, as a function of the final use: industry, design, woodworking etc.

Ducerf offers a selection of boules qualities established from APECF sawing classification standards:
- Fine cabinetmaking joinery : Grades Q-B 1/Q-B 2
- Select joinery : Grades Q-B 2/Q-B 3
- Grades Q-B A/Q-B 1
- AD or KD wood

All our boules are received and measured before shipping, under shelter in a hangar dedicating to receiving clients:
- The AD wood is commercially dried or pre-dried
- The KD wood is kiln-dried between 10 to 15 % depending on thickness
